$10.00 – $100.00Jon Seskevich, Retired RN, is a pioneer in holistic healing, mind-body stress management, and palliative care. Jon’s extensive career includes over 30 years experience as a nurse clinician at Duke University Hospital, where he conducted over 40,000 patient consults, and completed NIH funded research on the mind-body connection (see a 2002 new report on Jon’s work here).
Jon’s journey is marked by mentorship from renowned figures like Ram Dass, Elizabeth Kübler-Ross, and Stephen Levine, and his role as the founder and president of the Flying Monkey Foundation, which showcased his commitment to mind-body-spirit education, featured luminaries like Patch Adams, Krishna Das, Pema Chodron, and Sharon Salzberg.
His unique blend of experiences has shaped him into an entertaining, insightful, and inspiring speaker. Drawing on his NIH-funded research and clinical practice, Jon will share his experiences and guide clinicians through strategies for using the mind-body to reduce stress as well as discuss how clinicians can pass these skills on to patients and their families.
