ACPP Diplomate
Requirements of Board Certified Clinical Pastoral Psychotherapist (CCPP)1. Be a member of ACPP in Good Standing (fees, dues)
2. Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in related field (diploma or transcript)
3. Resume’ and/or Curriculum Vitae
4. Two Case Conferences (template below)
5. Demonstrated mastery of ACPP Standards (see essays below)
6. A 3-5 page autobiographical statement demonstrating one’s spiritual journey, self-awareness, self-reflection, and an integrative understanding of psycho-dynamic and spiritual development.
7. A 1600 hour internship or residency in Clinical Pastoral Education, Clinical Pastoral Psychotherapy, or a related spiritually-integrated psychotherapeutic internship.
8. An additional 200 hour CPP Specific Unit (cohort or experiential internship).
9. Successfully meet a committee that either approves you for CCPP or gives you recommendations and a time to return to the committee.
Diplomates are bestowed the board certification letters of CCPP. Annual Dues are $250 for Diplomates.
